Strongid-P Horse Wormer is a highly effective treatment against all the important gut-dwelling roundworms in equines due to the active ingredient Pyrantel Embonate. Strongid-P Horse Wormer is also effective against tapeworms when a double dose is administered. Strongid-P Horse Wormer will also effectively treat benzimidazole resistant strains of Small Redworms. All horses in a yard or grazing together should be included in a regular worming programme and wormed at the same time.
One syringe of Strongid-P Horse Wormer will treat up to a bodyweight of 600 Kg when single dose administered.

The following method of administration is recommended:1.Position the locking ring over the appropriate mark on the plunger.2.Remove the cap from the nozzle.3.The paste is best deposited on the upper surface (dorsum) of the tongue. Introduce the nozzle end of the syringe at the corner of the mouth (labial commissure). Direct the syringe backwards and depress the plunger to deposit the paste onto the tongue. Providing the paste is given in this way it is unlikely that any rejection will occur.
